Leave the mattress uncovered and do not replace sheets or protectors immediately. Open windows and use air conditioning or a fan to circulate air around the top and sides.
Do not rely on surface dryness alone
The outer fabric may feel dry while the filling still holds moisture. Follow the recommended drying time and confirm the mattress is fully dry before use.
Leave space around the mattress
Raising it slightly or moving it away from the wall, when possible, allows air to reach the sides and lower surface.
